My last four weeks as a freelance machinist

Here I am again! Well, it has been a while since I last posted. During the last four weeks I have started two jobs in the same time: one as Library Advisor at the University for the Creative Arts and the other as a freelance machinist. 

Please believe me when I say that I have worked seven days a week. Am I insane? No, it is because I am a Gemini and Gemini is always doing two things at once...aaaaaah! 

It has been a pleasure working for Nicole Philips England because I really love their printed materials. 

Here you are some snaps when I was working in my lab. Fabrics, bias, waddings,  scraps and a tons of threads.......everywhere.

Nicole, the founder and painter, is now in London to launch her brand during the Country Living Fair. Let's say that a piece of Fedulab is also there. A big good luck Nicole!

Citrus, limoni e Camogli

Questo weekend mi sono concessa una piccola vacanza in quel di Genova.

Guardando il paesaggio delle colline è difficile non lasciarsi ispirare dai colori dell'ambiente che mi circonda. Questa settimana abbiamo fatto una gita nel ridente borgo di Camogli. Sapevate che al molo di Camogli c'è una rete di pescatori dove gli innamorati appendono dei cuori di carta? Carini!

Mi incantano le piante di limoni sempre cariche di questi profumatissimi frutti.

Così, ispirata dalla terra ligure, ho creato la borsa CITRUS.

Appena ho visto questo tessuto color verde/giallo acido con inserti a spirale nero, ho pensato fosse perfetto per una borsa ispirata alla terra ligure. Ho infine impreziosito la borsa con una spilla a fiocco.

This weekend I stayed in Genova. We made ​​a trip to Camogli, a small fishing village on the Mediterranean Sea. This landscape ispires me a lot of ideas.

I made CITRUS bag, ispired by the lemon trees.
