Maggio si apre alla grande per la mia insaziabile voglia di creare borse e cosette in stoffa infatti guardate quante meravigliose stoffe posso ora usare per i miei scopi.

- Strawberries Black and White con una cascata di fragole con fiori e tanti pois. 

- Hearts and Dots (nelle varianti crema, rosa e bianca) costellato di cuoricini e piccoli pois. 

- Cup Cakes Pink con tanti e tanti dolcetti e cuoricini. 

- Large Rose è caratterizzata da una stampa ricca di rose di molti colori. Maggio sarà il mese perfetto per usarla! 

- Spot Deep Rose è un classico per il mio stile, sicuramente non farò fatica a usarlo.

May starts with a bang for my insatiable desire to create little things with fabrics, in fact look through these fabrics I can now use for my purposes.

- Strawberries Black and White with a cascade of flowers and strawberries with many dots. 

- Hearts and Dots (variants in cream, pink and white) is a funny cotton with small hearts and polka dots. 

- Cup Cakes with Pink sweets and a lot of hearts. 

- Large Rose is characterized by a print full of roses in different colours. May will be the perfect month to use it! 

- Spot Deep Rose is a classic cotton for my style, I will use it soon.

While I'm preparing new creations I leave you with a taste of what is to come: new  iPhone covers and scrubs caps for nurses.

Tutorial: diy brooch packaging

Dopo avervi mostrato le ultime spille che ho creato, oggi vi propongo un piccolo tutorial sul come realizzare dei simpatici packaging per confezionare piccoli oggetti, io ad esempio ho impacchettato delle spille che ho spedito alle mie clienti. 

Per formare le confezioni ho utilizzato dei ritagli di stoffa, carta, un foglio di plastica e del filo. 

Mi è subito piaciuto questo packaging perché permette di creare un simpatico contenitore e consente di riutilizzare i vostri ritagli di stoffa e carta/cartone. 

- Prima di tutto sistemate il tessuto tra la carta e il foglio di plastica 

- Selezionate il punto zig-zag e iniziate a cucire assieme gli strati. 

- Cucite i primi tre lati e al quarto inserite la spilla in modo da chiuderla. 

- Rifinite il bordo del packaging ritagliando l'eccesso. 

...e voilà! Ora non resta che divertirsi e scartare la spilla ^_^

After the post a little while ago about my latest brooches, today I'd go with one small tutorial for a nice packaging for brooches, that I sent to my customers.
I used scraps of fabrics, paper, a plastic sheet and the thread. I immediately liked this packaging because it's easy and looks rally effective!

- First, place the fabric between paper and plastic sheet
- Select the zigzag stitch and start sewing the layers together.
- Sew the three sides and on the fourth put the pin and close it.
- Now cut the excess of packaging.

and ... voila! Now you just have fun and discard the badge ^ _ ^

Mancano solo 19 giorni a natale e a breve dovremmo acquistare i fatidici regali natalizi.

Oltre ad avere il tipico problema del "cosa" regalare da un paio di anni sono assillata dal "come" presentare. Mi spiego: vorrei trovare una soluzione carina per impacchettare i regali in modo creativo e insolito.

Stamattina è arrivata l'illuminazione attraverso le bellissime idee di Jessica Wilson (aka Jek in the box).

Perché non usare ritagli di tessuti per le gift tag? Oppure impacchettare in modo originale usando tulle, fili e bottoni? Io li trovo deliziosi e di sicuro mi applicherò.

Ta dah! Another 19 sleeps till Christmas day and we should buy all the Xmas' gifts.

Left aside this time the problem about "what" buy , I'm resolving the problem about "how to" exhibit them. Let me explain: I would like to find a nice solution for a creative and unusual packaging.

This morning I've found a greatest inspiration from the beautiful Jessica Wilson's ideas (aka Jek in the box).

Why don't use scraps of fabric to make a gift tag? Try to wrap the gifts with tulle, thread and buttons. I think they're so delicious!

Case 2 Case

Presa bene dalla prima sfornata di astucci cubettosi, ho deciso di incrementare la varietà di queste creazioni. Ho utilizzato gli ultimissimi pezzi di stoffa giapponese. Con la stoffa cerbiatti crema e rosa sono nate WHITE FAWN CASE e PINK FAWN CASE, mentre con quella "cute animals kawaii" ho prodotto HIPPO HIPPIE CASE.

Mi piace tantissimo finire delle stoffe a cui ero molto legata per questa ondata di utili astucci.

Una mia amica che ha già acquistato una trousse (per l'esattezza quella con i gattini rosa vedi post) mi ha confermato che è utilissimo da portare in viaggio magari riempito con cerotti, spray o campioncini.

In questo post vi mostro che i case possono essere usati sia per contenere la vostra collezione di smalti che la vostra macchina fotografica fisheye.

Queste tre trousse sono dei pezzi unici perché come spiegavo sopra ho letteralmente finito le stoffine.
