I love my dog and cat

It's the truth! I really love my dog and my cats (I miss them a lot!) and I hope also you too. 

The first time I saw the handmade shaped dogs and cats buttons of Buttonmad I was really thrilled because immediately I come up with a nice "craft" idea. 

On my moleskine I've drawn a sketch with a possible shape of the brooches but during the preparation I've decided to change the embroidered phrase.

From I [love] + button I passed to I [love] My + Dog/Cat button. I was looking for a more intimate slogan and I think the adding of "my" reaches the aim. What do you think? 

Now I have available four felt brooches "I love my cat" (in blue, yellow, lilac and green) and five models "I love my dog" (two scottish terrier, one labrador and two lilac spotted dogs).

 E' assolutamente vero: voglio tantissimo bene ai miei gatti e al mio cane (e mi mancano tanto!) e spero anche voi. 

La prima volta che ho visto i bottoni artigianali Buttonmad a forma di cane e gatto mi è venuta subito in mente un'idea artigianale da fare. 

Sul mio moleskine avevo abbozzato un'idea per le spille ma in corso d'opera ho poi deciso di cambiare la frase da ricamare. Da Io amo il cane sono passata a Io amo il MIO cane, è una piccola modifica ma rende di più l'idea di affetto che si prova verso il proprio animale domestico. Che ne dite? 

Al momento ho creato quattro spille gatto (verde, lilla, giallo e blu) e cinque con i cani (due scottish terrier, un labrador e due cagnolini a pois lilla).

Era da un po' che non aggiornavo più il blog e soprattutto da troppo tempo mancava un bel post dedicato alle mie amate clienti!

Ecco a voi le nuove spille estive! I simpatici soggetti che ho riprodotto in feltro sono l'ananas, il fenicottero ed il cono gelato. 

Con l'arrivo della bella stagione ho osato e giocato con il giallo, il blu ed il magenta, colori che sicuramente risplenderanno sul vostro look estivo.

Here you are the new juicy handmade brooches for this summer! 

The subjects that I reproduced are: the pineapple, the flamingo and the ice cream cone. 

I dared and played with the yellow, blue and magenta that will surely shine on your summer look. Do you like them? 

I used these materials: colored felt, upholstery, Aurifil Threads and a silver-plated brooch fastener.

Hares, Paws and me

Da oggi sono tornate disponibili le spille Hare e Paws. 

La spilla Hare ha tinte delicate ed è molto vanitosa del proprio codino lilla a pon pon, mentre le spille Paws sono fatte per essere abbinate in più colori. Ho usato feltro colorato che sfuma dal color panna al marrone cioccolato. 

Ecco come le indosserei io, forse sono un po' esagerata ma sono troppo simpatiche.

Handmade Hare and Paws felt brooches are back. 

The classy Hare brooch is very vain of its cute violet pon pon scut, while Paws brooches are made to be combined in multiple colors. I used colored felt that shades from cream to chocolate brown. 

Here's how I'd wear them, maybe I'm a bit 'excessive, but they're are too funny and pretty.

Quest anno i designer di New York hanno decretato che il colore dell'estate sarà la tonalità Pink Honeysuckle o Rosa Caprifoglio (già mesi fa ho pubblicato un post dedicato a questo colore).

Ho deciso di proporre una selezione di spille in feltro cucite e ricamate da me di questo colore. A volte basta un dettaglio nella scelta degli accessori per risaltare le tendenze in voga.

I have developed two models for the exclusive shop for lovers of istant film:

- Hand embroidered brooch with the logo of the Impossible project with the unique reflected P.

Non avete mai sentito parlare dell'Impossible Project? Male, malissimo!

Dovete sapere che nel 2008 abbiamo rischiato di perdere per sempre la produzione delle pellicole a sviluppo immediato perchè Polaroid aveva rinunciato alla produzione della sua pellicola istantanea.

The Impossible Project nasce dalle ceneri dell'ultimo stabilimento Polaroid di Enschede (nei Paesi Bassi) con lo scopo di mantenere in vita la fotografia analogica istantanea.

Nuovo capitolo: Crafting Mama per Ninendo DS

Con Cooking mama fu amore a prima vista. Ricordo che è stato uno dei primi giochi che provai con la mia (allora) nuovissima Nintendo DS.
Poi fu la volta di Cooking mama 2 e di Gardening mama.

Alla Mama dedicai due delle spille a me più care e ben riuscite: con la Mama arrabbiata e la Mama felice da medaglia ora (dipinte a mano e replicabili a richiesta fedulab@gmail.com).

Dopo aver sperimentato la cucina e il giardinaggio, in CRAFTING MAMA ci si diletterà in quaranta e più lavoretti artigianali seguiti e incoraggiati dalla nostra Mama. Attraverso il touch screen avremo la possibilità di creare casette per uccellini, origami, cucire vestiti (!!!), ricamare, fare la maglia, dipingere tazze e modellare l'argilla.
